Betsi Freeman   lyric soprano

Betsi Freeman has appeared in productions of Ned Rorem's Fables, Trial by Jury, Suor Angelica, The Mikado, Gluck's Orfeo, Aleko, Rameau's Pigmalion, and Tosca. She co-produced and played piano for the musical I Love You Because with Endeavor Theatre Ensemble and The Red Brick Road Theater Company, which won four Scenie Awards, including Best Directing and Best Ensemble Cast. 

As a choral singer, Betsi has toured New York, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea, including performances in The Seoul Arts Center, Avery Fisher Hall and the Brooklyn Tabernacle.  She was recently seen singing in a holiday episode of the CW show "Masters of Illusion" and playing keyboards for de Toledo High School's production of "Young Frankenstein." She is a member of The Roger Wagner Chorale.

Betsi was recently featured as a singer/songwriter on L.V. Smith's Pasadena TV show "Sounds Within". Current projects include recording a trio of original love songs sung by Claire Averill and arranged by Zak Lloyd and Leah Finkelstein. She also assists with administrating SoCal LoTal, a series of house concerts in L.A. and Orange County, and leads worship for Coram Deo Ministries in Sherman Oaks, CA.
